Easy. quick on-line service - immediate quote with variable options. Cheaper than similar services. Didn’t need to make a claim (thankfully!) so not sure how that part of the service works.

It was very quick to organise and very inexpensive compared to Hertz CDW insurance. Didn’t have to claim on it so no idea about its effectiveness.

I have nothing to report, but I hired a car in Thailand and wanted to reduce the excess charges, so I used Reduce My Excess. Luckily, I didn't have to claim in the end.
