I made a claim after an accident and the claim process was straightforward through online completion of form. I received prompt response once claim form submitted, and the matter was dealt with in timely manner by the claims department. Thank you!!
Someone did pick up the phone which is a good sign, I would recommend adding after pick up even if it’s an hour or half an hour after as people do forget to do it before pick up, you could ask for picture to verify that the person hasn’t damaged the car when placing the order.
Very helpful and they sorted out my upgrade to Worldwide easily;entirely my fault for not realising Turkey isn't covered by the Europe policy although in mitigation I would say that Northern Cyprus,which is Turkish was covered by last year's policy!The only problem I had was actually making the additional payment as the link sent didn't work so I had to phone and email to resolve but when I got through it was sorted out quickly and painlessly. I have used them before and so have my friends.

Absolutely brilliant
All arranged on-line. Had no reason to use the cover but for peace of mind its worth it, and cheaper than buying from the hire company. For this reason cant fully know if its a good company to settle claims hence the 4* review.

It was really quick and easy to set up my ReduceMyExcess policy. It took just a couple of minutes to enter my details and select the company the hire was with, make the payment and it was all done. Luckily I haven't had to make a claim so I can't comment on that side of things. But reducing the XS of my hire to £0 at a third of the cost of doing it with the hire company was great. You can choose car or van, so it's not just good for holiday hire cars, you can cover the XS for a van hire.
This survey really should be completed only by people who have been unlucky enough to have to make a claim. I've used the service several times, and the purchase process was easy, but surely the measure of an insurance company is how they act when there's a claim. Asking people who haven't really had to make use of the insurance to evaluate them is farcical.
