Hi there,Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry you feel this way however I have to disagree that we hide the fact that our policies automatically renew. When you have purchased the policy you have agreed to our offering of automatic renewal and when it has become due, we have emailed you 25 days prior to the renewal date with your renewal invitation. This invitation confirms the renewal premium and the automatic renewal process. As we have not heard from you requesting otherwise, the renewal has processed through. I have checked our system and we have not received any correspondence from you in regards to this. If you would like to cancel the policy we can do this for you from today. Always a pleasure to deal with, and they have saved me over £320 in the last year.

Answer emails. Auto renewal will catch you out if you are not careful. Can’t travel, can’t hire cars and still auto renewed!! No response to emails sent from their website.

It was easy to buy online and it gave me peace of mind while renting a car.

We recently visited the Isle of Wight and booked a hire car. Having checked how much the hire company wanted per day to reduce the excess we looked on line at reduce my excess who offered a great policy at a fraction of the price so we purchased that and everything went well with no issues.

Easily renewed. As a regular hirer it makes sense.

Very straightforward transaction, all my questions answered immediately and very thoroughly dealt with. Very satisfied.

Well, they haven't done anything yet - the real test of a claims service - however ReduceMyExcess came highly recommended -from Which? consumer guide - and I feel confidant they will deal with any issues concerning damaged rental vehicles (not that I anticipate actually needing this service!)

As it happens I didn't need the insurance this time however the peace of mind is invaluable. Easy to use website and excellent price.

Checking our system we have received no correspondence from you requesting we switch off the automatic renewal from your policy which is why the renewal has processed through. I am sorry that you were not expecting this. Our cancellation fee is in place as per our terms and conditions and is simply in place to cover the costs that we incur, it is not in place to penalise you at all.
